Take it from a gay man in the SF Bay Area. This area has been so overtaken by (mostly) hetero tech bros and their money (along with a huge failure to build enough new housing to accommodate the jobs created) that the characteristic gay person can't bear to live here anymore. Fortunately, there's much less of a need these days for gays to congregate in gay ghettos.
