Homosexuell gay sax
Since gay couples have fewer children, the high frequency of queer relationships in humans is puzzling from an evolutionary point of view. Perhaps there are social advantages such relationships confer on a group, or perhaps “gay genes” are selected for other reasons.
A group of Spanish researchers have studied same-sex sexual behaviour and social relationships in more than species of mammals – and in a recent paper in Nature Communications, they conclude it arose independently many times, and is related to other kinds of social behaviour.
Darwin’s paradox
Research has shown the basis of male homosexuality in humans is at least partially genetic. I know of no labor on a genetic basis for female–female sexual behaviour.
Why then is male–male sexual behaviour so common? You’d think, because gay couples have fewer children, these gene variants would be passed on rarely, and their frequency would decline over time.
Geneticists, sociologists and psychologists have advanced many doable explanations for this conundrum.
One is that gay genes are really “male-loving genes”. In th

The health effects of same-sex sexual habit are many. The general, government, and judiciary are being lead to think that same-sex sexuality is a normal variant with interactions and results similar to heterosexual sexuality. However, this position runs reverse to professional literature and the track record of history.
By any repeatable measure, the percentage of the population identifying as same-sex attracted, lesbian, bisexual, or gender non-conforming (GLBT) is small. The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that men having sex with men (MSM) comprise approximately two percent of the population, or four percent of the U.S male population.1 The University of Chicago’s National Opinion Research Center has conducted surveys regarding homosexuality since the belated s and deems that approximately two percent of the U.S. population identifies as either gay, sapphic, or bisexual.2 The National Survey of Family Maturation conducted by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics found that among women ages 18 to 44, percent identified as bisexual with
About gay male sexuality
Many men report that they had experiences with people of the same sex when they were young. This is often a normal part of exploring their sexuality. Men who go on to describe themselves as ‘same-sex attracted’ or ‘gay’ possess a strong physical and emotional attraction to men that they don’t usually feel for women.
Being a gay dude is natural
There is a lot of pressure from community for young men to be heterosexual or ‘straight’. This can often bring about feelings of isolation for young men who are same-sex attracted and make them scared to display their sexuality.
It’s important to remember:
- There are gay men in every customs and every country.
- Being gay is just a form of sexuality.
Why some men are gay
There is no real explanation as to why some men are gay and others are not. Although there is no right or untrue answer to the question, a doable reason suggested by researchers is that we are born with our sexual orientation.

Words are powerful.
They come with a truckload of baggage from the thousands of times we have heard and used them in various settings and cultural contexts. So when we therapists are confronted with male clients, often married ones, who come to us with deep conflicts about their sexual attraction to other men, we often find that they are willing to apply the word “homosexual,” but eschew the “gay” label.
Why? Because “gay” implies an embracing of the queer lifestyle — gay bars, gay pride parades, perhaps multiple sex partners, or even anonymous sex. Such clients often are in committed relationships with their wives, are fathers, and are members of a religion that labels lgbtq+ attraction, especially if acted upon, as a sin. Unfortunately, much of our nation’s politics have drawn-out exacerbated the problem as well, shaming and vilifying homosexuality, leading legions of men struggling with sexual identity to internalize their homophobia.
For example, gay men in the Mormon faith are in moral dispute. Their only option if they want to linger active and “worthy” (meaning they can partic
